The award ceremony, during which the prizewinners and laureates of the Annual Black Gold of Yugra Contest held under the auspices of Oil, Gas and Mineral Resources Department of KHMAO Administration among oil and gas companies operating in KHMAO were awarded with certificates and prizes, took place on September 11, 2009 in the conference hall of the KHMAO Administration.
Based on the contest results the collection of awards won by the teams and individual specialists from BKE Western Siberia Branch has significantly replenished. The name of Burovaya Kompaniya Eurasia four times was announced during the ceremony.
Amrakh Abdulrakhman-ogly Djabrailov, Driller from EGEB-1 under Western Siberia Branch, was recognized the winner of the Contest in the nomination “the Best Driller of KHMAO – Yugra in 2008.”

Additionally, the crews headed by toolpushers Alexey Musatov and Maxim Usov from EGEB-1 received certificates of the Best Drilling Crews of KHMAO-Yugra in 2008. The crews headed by Vladimir Samoilov and Oleg Safonov from EGEB-2 were awarded with certificates of the Best Well Testing Crew of KHMAO-Yugra in 2008. Such certificates, valuable gifts, badges of gold and silver were handed by Alexander Filipenko, KHMAO Governor.
Traditionally, the award ceremony is timed to the Oilmen’s Day. Therefore, the nominees had a chance to participate in the festive events that were held in the Okrug that day.
